Shot End Features
“DCP” Shot Ends are the world’s most reliable shot ends. They are superior in performance, repeatability and consistency, with variable controlled velocities. They have super response times, excellent transitions in all phases from 6–450 inches per second with consistency and repeatability. We offer diagonal ramping capabilities through acceleration speed changes (higher velocity is available for magnesium) and unsurpassed consistence in low impact phase.
Upgrade your existing machine with a New DCP shot End: Retrofits available for 100 through 3,000 ton machines – Hot or cold chamber shot ends. Intensifier pressure control available on all new DCP shot ends. Die Cast Press Hot and Cold chamber Shot Ends are easily installed by our personnel or yours and are retrofitted to your existing machine for better performance, faster response times and new technology.
Cold Chamber Shot End
- New C-Frame installed or existing remanufactured
- Cylinder to be of bell mounting
- Combination shot cylinder on shot manifold
- Din cartridge valving (cartridge insert type) proportional valve for meter out shot control
- Combination rear cylinder head. Piston accumulator mountings and Aluminum Shot End valving
- Piston accumulator gas bottle driven.
- Approach speed control.
- Transducer and gauge ports provided
- Limit switches operating rod provided can be changed to encoder type shot control
- Multiplier, integrated, piston accumulator driven with manifold available in 2:1, 3:1 or 4:3
- Pressure control and integrated valving inserted in manifold

Hot Chamber Shot End
